Spring 2026 at Toasted — What's New on the Menu

Spring hit Montrose faster than we expected this year. The jacarandas on Honolulu are already blooming, regulars are back on the patio, and our kitchen has been quietly reworking the menu for warmer months. A few things land on the table starting this week — here's what to look for on your next visit to Toasted.
A New Strawberry Tower (and Why We Couldn't Wait)
We run the Strawberry Delight Toast Tower all year, but California strawberries in April are on another level. This spring we're adding a rotating strawberry feature built around whatever peaks that week at the Montrose farmer's market — one week it's Chandlers with basil and black pepper, the next it's Albions with cream and a shortbread crumble. Same $16.50 Petite price, dine-in only as always.
If you're a regular, ask whoever's behind the counter what the week's strawberry build is. They'll know.
The Iced Lineup Expands
We quietly added a few iced drinks to the menu over the winter that didn't get a proper announcement. If you haven't tried them yet:
- Rose Water Iced Latte — same homemade rose syrup as the hot version, served over ice. Feels like summer in a glass.
- Cold Brew with Cardamom Cream — our take on iced Armenian coffee. The cream float on top is what makes it.
- Iced Lavender Latte — mellow, floral, not at all what you'd expect from a “lavender drink.”
The iced menu has always been an afterthought at most cafes. We wanted ours to feel like a real lineup, not just the hot menu with ice cubes.

Friday Evenings Are Back
We're keeping extended Friday hours all spring — kitchen open until 8 PM, full coffee bar until close. This has become one of our favorite nights of the week: families come in for dinner, there's always a book club in the back corner, and the patio fills up with dogs and neighbors. Check the Events page for anything special we're running.

Catering Season Starts Now
April through June is when corporate catering inquiries double at Toasted. Company off-sites, baby showers, graduation parties — the calendar fills up fast. If you're thinking about a Toast Tower Station for an event this spring or early summer, get on the books soon. All three packages are detailed on the catering page, and we're still running the live-build station with our barista on-site for events of 30+ guests.
One Small Thing We Fixed
We heard you — the line on Saturday mornings was getting out of hand. Starting this month, you can now order ahead through Clover and skip it entirely. The Order Online button at the top of every page is the fastest route. Toast Towers are still dine-in only (they don't travel), but just about everything else is fair game for pickup.
See you on the patio. It's a good season to be in Montrose.
