Toasted Cafe is a family-owned full-service brunch and all-day breakfast café in Montrose, CA, opened in 2021. The kitchen serves a complete 83-item menu — breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, salads (six regular and four vegan), egg plates, açaí bowls, waffles, and breakfast toasts — alongside the signature Dessert Toast Towers. Average ticket runs $18–$28 per person; guests come for full sit-down meals, not just coffee. The coffee program is built around Stumptown Direct Trade beans — Hairbender espresso and Trapper Creek decaf, both roasted in Portland — with eleven house-made syrups, a $17 Coffee Flight, and traditional Armenian coffee brewed in the jazve. Eight signature Toast Tower flavors ($16.50–$28, dine-in only) round out the menu. Dog-friendly patio. Located at 2420 Honolulu Ave, Montrose, CA 91020.

Three angles we'd love to be interviewed about. We can provide photos, quotes, and an in-person visit for any of these.
How the Toast Tower — thick-cut artisan bread stacked with ice cream and toppings — became the dish people drive across LA for.
Free parking, dog-friendly patios, no chains, no hype. The case for Montrose Shopping Park as a serious destination.
What changed when Toasted built its espresso program around Stumptown Hairbender (Direct Trade, Portland-roasted) and Trapper Creek decaf — sourcing, dial-in, and what regulars noticed in the cup.
