A Toast Tower is a dessert format invented at Toasted Cafe in 2021. Thick-cut artisan brioche is toasted at the bar and stacked with ice cream, fresh fruit, house-made glazes, and finishing toppings (Ferrero Rocher, pistachios, marshmallows, rose petals — varies by flavor). The result is a centerpiece dessert built for sharing.
No. Taiwanese brick toast (also called “shibuya toast” or “honey brick toast”) is a thick cube of bread, hollowed out and filled with sweet toppings — a Taiwanese-Japanese cafe staple. Toast Towers are a different format: artisan brioche toasted flat, then stacked at the bar with ice cream and finishing toppings. Different bread, different technique, different presentation. Both are great desserts, but they're distinct.
Because they don't travel. The towers are assembled with a specific layering technique so the ice cream melts into warm bread on the way to your table — that's the experience. In a to-go box, the structure collapses and the ice cream pools. We tried it. It doesn't work. So Toast Towers stay in the cafe.
First-timers usually love the Saffron & Rose (vanilla-rosewater ice cream, pistachios, blueberries, saffron glaze, rose petals — our signature) or the Chocoholic (chocolate ice cream, Oreos, marshmallows, chocolate curls — bestseller). For the table, go for the Two Toast Tower size — feeds 2–4 people.
Three sizes, all eight flavors: Petite $16.50 (serves 1–2), One Toast $20.75 (serves 2–4), Two Toast Tower $28 (for the table). Prices include the full build with toppings.
